Exchange Control & CBE Reporting Officer
Description
Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for back office banking operations covering the following areas & functions
• Providing an accurate Regulatory Returns sent to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE)-Exchange Control Sector.
• Ensure meeting all the data submitted across the bank functions and proper , accurate submission through the CBE network.
• Reporting to the exchange control team leader , the role holder will deliver
• World class service in supporting the business and act as a role model by consistently
Demonstrating powerful leadership both in terms of behaviours and actions.
Ensure full adherence to the agreed SLA’s & bank regulations and policies.
Main accountabilities and approximate time split
Accountability
Time split 80 %
Business Management • Assist the exchange control team leader to ensure quality of service and performance at a high standard for internal customers in compliance with SLA .
• Work with business partners and drive performance against SLA’s/Targets/Audit reports etc., and seek innovative solutions to improve performance and achieve the Operations goals.
• Through effective controls and quality audits/sampling ensure that risk is identified and appropriate procedures are put in place to mitigate risk/reduce losses to the bank.
• Handling any complaints received in accordance with procedures.
• Meet governance, risk management, controls and compliance requirements.
• Prepare the weekly and monthly statistics for the department.
• Prepare the necessary tracers for various correspondents when needed.
• Deliver high standards of accuracy in all kind of duties assigned to him/her.
• Handling the daily work filling in a proper way.
Hourly & Daily M/Is
• Balancing status of currency positions
• Hourly & Daily Free Market transaction report .(all over the bank )
